Wooden and Flat and sassier and cooler than you. You wish you had this much Je ne sais quoi. Face and fierce fashion, eat it.
As if the Exquisite Corpse pieces weren’t weird enough, I top myself. Just walking home and this just punches me in the face. So much wow.
This was in exactly the same place as the Orangutan piece previously shown on the site. Apparently it is a magical conduit for high weirdness. I must remember where the spot is now that it is covered by a horrible hotel.
So at least I am showing how the weirdness follows me. It is shaping me. It has always been there. Constantly reinforcing its idea. Invading my mental space.
It also shows that it isn’t always sad. It can be jubilant and defiantly optimistic. And it shakes you as much so it’s a good barometer that I haven’t gone full dark Phoenix.
That is the ultimate goal. Not to lose my sense of self or my sense of humor. To keep a balance and a love of wonder. It’s hard but not impossible. I still seem to have it in check.
