Plexiglass ceiling is one of many naturally occurring distortions I am obsessed with. You will notice that I take tons of pictures of this idea. Pictures or ideas that mimic Photoshop. Just without the Photoshop.

The room itself was a decorator’s nightmare. Pizzeria red colored banquettes paired with matte and gloss black walls and floor. A dungeon with a color scheme out of eighties S&M parlor or a Liz Claiborne dress. All paired with greenery, whether real or not, that looked made of silk.

The ceiling made it even worse. Someone thought to pair all of this with plexiglass infinity mirrors. Infinity mirrors that had fluorescent lights.

I know it sounds like I am lying but they had to be plexiglass. You wouldn’t want design this bad falling on people. Even though we all secretly wished it. I more than most. Not to harm our lovely clientele, oh no, but only because the statement that bad design kills would be so profound.

It really does kill. How many great ideas have I had that I have ruined through bad design? Hundreds. Remember, bad design kills.

I still got some great images. Solely by focusing on the distortion. I mean the truth. I mean the distortion.
