Starting out 2015 with a new mindset. I need a mixture of ideas. Quicker responses to the world I live in. I need to freshen things up a bit on this site.

So here I am in the video surveillance of Duane Reade. In rain gear. With the Black Mirror covering my eyes in VR fashion. My bag makes my left leg look enormous and the foreshortening doesn’t help.

I spent most of last year compiling older pieces and doing the Jerome Isaac pieces.  I worked on other ideas which you will see shortly but I noticed that the lag was outstanding. That’s why I chose this piece as my symbol of 2015.

It is necessary for the site to expand and show a wider range of material. A quicker approach to content. Slap it up should be the mentality. Failure and success shown without judgement.

So what is coming for this new year? I have been working on the Karlie Kloss piece this month. It’s a massive failure and something that you have to see to believe. But I think I can work the idea into a working series later this year. Perhaps in the summer.

I also have a song from the very beginning of our days of recording. It’s called Document 13 and I have been transcribing the notation and midi to gain a greater understanding. It is revealing both visual and audio art right now.

I need to dig up more of the vault. Quick scans from the filing cabinets of things never seen. Things that never happened. Objects that may happen. Actually it all has already happened.

I still haven’t decided what the year’s focus will be. I am up for a dialogue about where to go.
