Orangutan is one of those only in New York moments. A moment that almost makes me queasy at how borderline offensive it is. Queasy at why I can’t tell you what the offense is. Even queasier is how funny it is if you have a sense of humor.

If you don’t have a sense of humor, you are on the wrong site. Please click elsewhere. Shit is funny around here, so that won’t change.

Even when things are completely serious, as in the previous post, at least try to laugh at the horror. It is the true magician’s way. Let the chaos magic reign supreme.

The disabled veteran gets it. Disabled and begging on the streets of New York and still he manages to turn a profit. See that change in the Big Gulp cup? People walked by and also got the humor of it all.

It’s great moments like this that keep me here. Ridiculous moments that cause my mind and heart to shudder. Visual assaults I can’t unsee.

The dark part of all this is the Marine that is on the street having to beg for change. While at the same time everyone on Facebook takes Memorial Day to applaud these men as “heroes.” Claiming they fought for our freedom being the most used cliche.

People who white knight patriotism on Facebook wouldn’t know a hero if he came up and punched them in the throat. They are just sharing their parent’s hands me down philosophy rather than getting up off their lazy asses and helping a homeless person. Classic American hypocrisy.
