Number thirty-five in the MAZE Series sees four solo crops come together to make magic. Each of these images comes from a different source. Yet as a whole they work wonderfully.

The colors harmonize quite nicely here. That rusty flesh color of a baby in India sleeping from MAZE35-1 is a nice tie throughout. Even the brights of 2 are not loud but blend nicely. Almost reminiscent of children’s toys.

I have criticized earlier pieces for lack of balanced composition. This piece is an example of what I am looking for in balance. The eye continuously moves throughout the piece. Moving from discovery to understanding but never resting in one place.

After the past few pieces, this is a nice return to complete success. I keep waiting to see if the series continues to work throughout the process. It’s always about noting the successes versus the failures and plotting those on the timeline.

Funny how every series has ups and downs. Each of them staging in a similar fashion. I wonder if I were to chart them by how much I like them if they would have the same graph. I bet they would be very similar.
