Number nineteen in the MAZE Series features four model faces. I only know three of the models, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen and Christy Turlington. Anybody know the model in slot one?

This piece works as a whole. It completed in four crops. My only issue is with the thicker clay coated papers from magazines like German Vogue. The blade always seems to chip the edge. Even when using a completely new blade. I have yet to find a solution to this problem.

The game then becomes coping with this problem. I have tried coating the paper with spray acrylic. It ended in failure. In future paintings I could distress the edges or just learn to live with it. These are problems created by using a machine to do something it’s not truly made to do.

At first I was apprehensive about putting any of this series up. It’s not a perfect process and the results are less than perfect. I want to create more than I want to let perfection become another roadblock.

The current roster of roadblocks are enough to bear without adding more. Time, energy and money are enough roadblocks to deal with at the moment. It’s more important to work and share the pieces.
