MAZE09 (perhaps the ninth in the MAZE Series?!?) sees more starburst filters, sequins, beading and metallics than you could imagine. Wait. Maybe I am underestimating your imagination.

Once again, four images from another over stylized editorial shoot. Do they even do under stylized photo shoots anymore? I guess when you are charging thousands of dollars for an article of clothing more is more is the only place you can go.

Silliness aside, I like the piece but don’t love it. 2 and 4 work well because of the lighter colors and the solid white pieces draw the eye. The face in 1 is pretty amazing. It’s just enough. Maybe I typed too hastily. I do like this one a lot.

Ernesto was showing someone my work last night and she apparently was shocked that I didn’t have representation. Me too. I know that with monkey’s paw wishes I should have caveats. So reputable and honest would be a good start. Although I know I am asking for a lot.

I have read Edward Winkleman’s blog for some time now. His rules for submission are candid. But between making the art. Blogging the art. Working a full-time job and staving off the crushing depression and venomous rage, it’s extremely difficult. Any tips or leads?
