These Landscape images are some of the first things I did after adjusting to living in New York City. The idea was to do simple collages using just two elements. No overthinking the idea.

Quick and easy quickly turned to torturing the pieces. I roughed up the paper. Then I went so far as to set them on fire and then broil them. Yeah, I just shared that I put them under an open fire gas broiler.

The eventual goal was to scan the pieces and do some digital work with them. This eventually happened. I used them extensively in the Amateur Porn pictures previously posted here on the site in July of 2015.

All things get used eventually and some interesting pieces out of this work. The current Icons series I am working on is so intense and tedious. It makes me long for the simplicity of these.

As for the Icons, they should be coming up soon. I have the notebook of them ready to go and a couple of them to do.

The only problem is how to post them. The project won’t be done for some time. Do I just post them as I do them?
