Right now I am hurtling through the subway. Half drunk and listening to the new Grimes. Life is frequently beautiful and happy.

I just went to get a bite of food after work. My old coworker is a manager at a SoHo late night spot now. He let me have whatever I wanted for nothing.

It was so kind I could get teary. Such a kind thing to do. I expect little from this world so when things happen I am truly grateful.

Thank goodness for the Grimes or I would be a sappy mess. Maybe I am in spite of this great new woman. Big thanks to ending a hard week to both Aref and Grimes.
