FFXIV Nico 08 is the next picture in this overwhelming series. All shots of me as my darker and better self. Still me but prettier and more digital.

This shot isn’t a beauty shot though. It is exploring the digital edginess if these games. Those visual glitches that happen when you zoom in just the wrong way.

There are whole communities devoted to this idea. People who explore edges of things and hidden bits. People who can jump, literally, outside the working confines of a digital world.

It was more of a thing in Warcraft. An old pro taking you on some weird journey to jump into a hidden area that couldn’t be gotten to any other way. Kind of like showing someone acid for the first time.

I love this kind of approach both in game and IRL. It shows that there is really no difference in either life.

Even inside this game I am hunting for the same glitches that I explore in my art. I hope that you are starting to see the relevance of these pieces. They are contemporary and completely a part of me. Just like everything else I have posted here.
