It’s St. Patrick’s day in New York City. The walk to the train filled with green in every gaze. I also heard a very trashy girl screaming how much she hates green.

Glitter bowler hats. Martian antennae. Head to toe all in emerald.

Pudgy bodies screaming their participation in the homophobic ritual. Even though the Roman Catholic Church is still involved, many think nothing of it.

For many years whenever I see people on social media flaunt their Christianity, I want to react by announcing my membership in some horrible organization.

It reminded me when people posted on Facebook that the KKK were allowing African Americans entry. Even they can turn over a new leaf. Good luck with that. 

I am not wearing green today.
