Display Distortion 5 goes dark with just a shift of perspective. There is a metaphor for life and art. Which is redundant because they are the same thing.
All the blues have gone black. Like bruises the color changes in this final piece in an overly long series of posts has changed into something different from the first four. The grimness unveiled.
I say overly long because at the time of creation I worried about having enough posts. Now I have too many. Knowing what I have in the can would have caused me to create one single post for all of the Display Distortion set.
Dont get me wrong. They are great images. I just wouldn’t have dragged them out this way. Plus it would have allowed for more variety in the kinds of posts over the past couple of months.
Well I live/post and I learn. This whole process has been an education. An education in what I have been scratching at all these years. Almost a map of the past.
That map is vital because if I know where I have been I can easily get a handle on where to go next. In the next posts I will start to verbally describe the future course.
