Devil Stamp is more leftover work from The Catch Trap. The stencil that was left from the Underwood Devils allowed me to use a self inking red address stamp to create this. Simple stuff really.

Once again though simplicity wins. It’s beautiful and layered nicely. The texture finishing the piece with subtlety.

I worry sometimes that I am repeating myself. Not in the art. The repetition there is obvious and intentional. I mean in the things I say and the topics I talk about.

Then other times I worry that I am not expressing clearly my perspective. Perhaps I am sugar coating an otherwise harsh personality. Maybe I am being dishonest on some level.

Then I pull back and realize what a huge task it is to write this much about anything. How hard it is to commit to a process and follow through on it. As I have written in my daily journal, just get it done.
