2008 Shredded 1

A mixture of two sets make up the first part of the 2008 Shredded series. One set from a metal advertisement board scraped not so clean. The blue background from my West Side Highway walk to the Hudson River Park.

That first image OMSDA is a perfectly destroyed poster for a forgettable movie. Which is huge territory made better through destruction. The ripped nature of the Sex and the City ad shows my internal aggression at a horribly stupid show. It’s almost like my mind is creating my reality. I should always keep in mind that Woody Harrelson is watching me.

Paul van Dyk shredded by Wolverine. Much like my love of trance over the years, the love hasn’t aged as nicely as this picture. Not that I don’t love trance, just not in the same way and definitely with a layer of sadness.

As I get older I am starting to notice more what ideas stick and return. What falls by the wayside. It is a strange experiment populated with people, music and ideas. The cast constantly changing or renewed.

The pieces on metal were a great source of inspiration in the age of myspace. I actually used them for my background banners. Even mocking up websites in the horror known as Dreamweaver. Wow, the old days are as shredded as these pictures. At least this website is less of a nightmare. Well, except for the views.
