So here is the second in the Tyra Banks set and once again there is a lot to love. From the neck down it’s exquisite. the way the organs and intestines visually pop is so good. Those intestines almost seem like they are in 3D. I just love that! And who knew you could even say that about a picture of Tyra Banks.

This is the single layer of solid blue as the topmost layer. Although it works as a whole, I feel her face is somewhat lacking in this one. You could even say, ‘she’s resting on pretty.’

Laura Farrow commented on the last one implying that I was being harsh. Which Laura can say because she knows me and I am. And I love and miss you, Laura.

But let me say that these are older pieces. When I criticize them, it’s because I know what is left in the set and I already know what I love the most. I know, it’s like a mother picking a favorite child but that’s how it works. Mothers pick favorites. At least some mothers do.

Eventually, when the next set of archival pieces come they will be added to the home page gallery. There are 17 in the next set. You will see then which of these current pieces I weed out.

  1. OK yeah, this one is far richer, beautiful colors. Each one is a new rendition, I take it, and not a continuance of the original? love you too, and happy you are orbiting the blogosphere. xo

  2. Each IS a new rendition. New colors. New attempt at getting it right. Almost like remixes.
