The third and final image of Charlize Theron in this set. I opted for a photo layer for the top layer with a little twist. This time rather than using a single image (like the final two MadgeLV pieces), I decided to use a composite image of several of my photographs. I love the effect.
Compositing the top layer allows for nice washouts like the snake head on the top left, but still allows for the overall imagery to shine through. This is the second time (05-Nadja3 being the first) in this series that I actually achieve the aesthetic I initially intended.
There is one mistake in this series that I honestly never noticed until the end of the entire set. If you notice the space between her right arm and her right side there is a sliver of the Mayan calendar that has a magazine cut underneath. It should have been open and just masonite and paint spatters underneath. This was an issue with the initial creation of the cut layer patterns. I just chalk it up to my love of printing errors and let it go. Mistakes like this don’t bother me in the least.
