Then one night I followed.
She started toward the river
on the edge of town.
Second in this set sees more ideas coming. I wonder what a set like this would look like if I worked it in Illustrator. Should I go back and touch old pieces like these?
So many great artists have set a precedent for revision. Unfortunately with these pieces I don’t feel the draw at the moment. These pieces are inspiring me though.
I have a new sketchbook. The only one I have had since that last lost one. The new one is covered in fruit stickers like the Icons cover.
Speaking of the old sketchbook let me finish that story. It was gone. I never saw any piece of it again.
But now I was stuck in the city with no keys. My roommate at the time was out of town so I was fucked.
The only thing to do was wait for the roommate to come back. I ended up crashing with a total stranger. Kind but uneventful, I got up the next morning with no idea what to do.
Then it dawned on me that I could enter through the adjacent building and cross on the outside metal grating. Scary but it would work.
Thank goodness that neighbor was home. I entered unharmed but had to go so desperately to the bathroom. After a long moment in the bathroom, I grabbed my spare keys with relief.
