Rorschach 09 is a beauty. All night I have wanted to sample many of these smears and push them into new territory. It is so gorgeous and easily one of my favorites.

Mainly it’s the blood in mustard smears. Looking a lot like Dune by Lynch. All those clouds and water droplets and storms. Speaking of David Lynch…

We have been rewatching Twin Peaks. Saturday night after work we watched the third episode of season one. It ends in the Black Lodge. That whole scene with Laura Palmer and the backwards talking little guy.

I immediately noticed the statue. The Venus Pudica. Venus being a common symbol of Satan, I thought about it as a piece of art and let it go.

Then the following night, Ernie is watching Downton Abbey and suddenly Mary is standing in front of the exact same statue. I stopped, booted up Netflix and showed Ernie.

At first he was apprehensive. Eventually he photographed it and Instagrammed the side by side images. It is so bizarre that synchronicities can take 30 years to happen. But when they do, they happen in less than 24 hours.
