Third in this RHS Series comes up neutral. If you think cut-up text and Christina Ricci are neutral. Only her publicist wishes this.
I once saw Christina on some horrible MTV level show. A gay fan wanted to meet her so much he was about to piss himself. They met and the first thing Christina noticed was his tongue piercing. Even though she claims to be an actress she could barely mask her revulsion and superiority. Points are deducted Christina.
Sometimes you lose so much credibility you are resigned to the Bermuda Triangle of my sphere never to be heard of again. It’s not too hard for them. They can always hang out with other dismissals like Kanye or Gaga. People who have coasted for too long on too little.
Even so, it’s a good piece. Touching on all those tiny bits of Craig. Text. Jewelry. Chopped up celebrity. All in white, black and tan. Trying to make Christina as classy as taupe pumps.
I wonder why I never tried to make the cuts more purposeful. Why both her eyes aren’t visible. It wouldn’t have been that hard. But then I think about the need to avoid perfection. To accept the imperfect in art is to help me accept it IRL.
