Pumkin is a little meta. Visually it looks like a pumpkin. That crash barrier. I spelled it pumkin because of Flavor of Love.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about Public Enemy. Their new album dropped and what I have heard I have liked. Maybe not the same way I loved earlier work but I think they are still worth listening too.

I know that a lot of it is a punk aggression in the sound. Paired with a socially conscious message that can viewed as in inflammatory, it’s just win win. Nothing has ever sounded like them.

It even made me watch Flavor of Love. All the seasons and spin offs. That is a testament in itself.

One time on break I was roaming Soho killing time. There was Flavor Flav looking lost. He asked for directions and I knew where he should be going.

Before he walked away I said something like, I love you and Public Enemy. He said I love you too man and gave me the handshake man hug with a back pat.

I bumped his clock during the hug and it all seemed so perfect. He was present and kind and sincere. It is moments like this that make me stay in this city.
