Pipes is a quick shot from a subway entrance on the Upper West Side. Almost a dirty white rainbow of pipes. I am certain this whole area was once white.

Have I mentioned the filth of New York City on this site? Numerous times. I am sure there are numerous times to come.

My only regret about this picture is the little bit of flash reflected off the back tiles. Sure, I could have done a little Photoshop magic. But I have covered that idea as much as the filth of the city.

All of the digital photography here on this site has had the barest of work done to them. Cropping, adjustment of levels and then resizing for the site. Just minor retuning.

It’s the photo editor in me. When you are working with huge volumes of images the amount of time you have on the single file is precious. If it requires a lot of work it probably isn’t worth it.
