Perspective is quite a mystery. I have no idea what the original image is. I can’t make it out and barely even remember making this piece.
I mean, I do vaguely remember making the piece and on this one I know it is mine. But I don’t remember the circumstances or printing of the piece. I also don’t remember any of the origin.
So why show it. Because I love the square patterns in relation to the colons. It is so good, it is like a language. It changes so much through the piece, I wonder how I achieved this look.
Back then I was really interested in droplets. Repetitive actions that I could sequence. I also did this with a music application called Metasynth. I still miss Metasynth to this day.
I will have to see where this comes from. And then make a decision about getting an older operating system up and running to do things like this again. Sure I could set this up on my current computer, but the limitations of the past really helped in the creation.
