Nadja PR-RAW Demo 3 is another mouthful of a title. Third in this set hence the number three. Simple stuff if you don’t overthink it. If you do, I have numbered them here so you don’t get lost.

Basically I started with a black layer and then threw dying magic markers at it. Smearing them with my sausage like fingers. Actually my fingers aren’t too sausagy. I was exaggerating to sound like a dude. Demystifying the artist’s process enough for you?

I then smeared some pastels for added mess and you end up with a piece that wasn’t worthy of the set. I have tread this story like a bald tire.

It works in spite of all this. Including my tone here in the writing. It’s spontaneous and the simple color scheme works.

It’s lack of concern is another high point. Experimentation for its own sake is invaluable. Effortless can sometimes be a compliment.

In the end, I never worked like this in the series. So there is a disconnect that happened. An idea thrown into the wind.

I worked out a process and ran with it. Not coming back to this may be the biggest mistake. But maybe I can pick up this idea later.
