Twenty-ninth in the MAZE Series comes up a beauty. Going from absolute dread concerning the completion of this series to admiring something I have created is wonderful. It gives me enough hope to spread around numerous needy areas in my life.
Once again the color palette is back to soft neutrals. As I said in an earlier post, text is back in a big way. Now with the front to back flipping process removed altogether, it was time to intentionally put text in the forefront.
Let me rave for a moment about MAZE29-3. A beautiful nude beautifully cropped. With all the random variables, it’s wonderful that it turned out as exceptional as it did.
These pieces have benefitted from the loosening of the reins. Once the back to front flipping ended, I had to come up with newer rules and ways to play. That play saved the series. It breathed life in and frustration out.
It also changed the amount of time it would take to complete a single MAZE. Earlier I was lucky to get three done on a day off. In one single day off with the second half of the series I created seven. Maybe the removal of dread helped.
