Digital Art
Here is the original digital perfection that created the block of the past few years. Digital perfection. It’s something I usually avoid. But this post is the lesson that too needs to end.
It isn’t that the final product is that far away from this original. It’s actually quite amazing that a little glue and some PDF prints could come this close. But success would involve getting much closer.
I was looking for masterpiece and ended up with a mess. It stung because I think the simplicity of the idea is exquisite. Even better is that I gave up completely on the piece this January.
What is great about giving up? I know that I will never achieve the level of beauty needed to bring this piece to success. All the problems mentioned in the previous posts need to inform the possible series of pieces. So maybe this piece will only live on as a demo and its digital counterpart, but the work has informed how to create a series of images like this.
In the following posts I think I should document how to make that happen. Lay out the rules and what I have learned about the creation of this demo piece. It should be easy to create the laws of the TRPL_SKN series from the educational perspective of this piece.
