Hologram Trashmat has been seen as the cover for this mix. Another early photograph from my days in SoHo. A strange time indeed.
At that time there were still more than a few weird shops around the area. Everything from great second hand shops to schmatta dealers who had some of the best ribbon selections I have ever seen in my life.
This particular still life was outside a shop that sold vintage Hawaain shirts. A cute place with pricy pieces. Oddly this was outside that establishment.
It actually covered a dirt hole where a tree used to live. So they decided to cover it with tons of hologram paper. I actually think I covered this idea elsewhere. Maybe in the DJ mix this was the cover for.
I must push this level of ugliness into pieces. More duct tape and packing tape. More residue and cracks. More stress and strain. Reflect the harsh beauty of the world.
