FFXIV Nico 27

FFXIV Nico 27 is the end of this series. Twenty-seven is a huge set of photos so it is nice that this last piece is of my biggest in game crush. Yay, Maegwin.

I know that seems a little strange to be a gay man professing my love for a real girl. I know she was real because we did TeamSpeak quite a bit. I can still hear her Basque accent even as I write this.

We called her Mae. She was quiet and shy. Even though she was half my age I looked up to her. She was risky in the game and would try anything.

Pug Turn 5 sure. Lie about experience to get what she wanted. She didn’t care. She had personal goals and she was out there to get them done. Love this mentality.

Then she paired all of this with a quiet and knowledgeable bossiness. Never rude. Just matter of fact to the point of being soft spoken. It never hindered her leadership.

Sometimes I could see her struggle when we were in our Free Company and she would have to defer to greater powers. Or sometimes when multiple allied Free Companies were working on something I would see her quiet her bossiness.

Still those were just public relations moves to maintain a friendly and continued presence. She was pretty amazing in game. I still miss her.
