FFXIV Nico 03 is the third in the series of screen captures from Final Fantasy XIV. Another shot of me in Crystal Tower bard gear on the beach paradise of Costa del Sol. The juicy water so beautifully rendered.

It’s like a real life beach resort. Right down to escort quests involve cat girl prostitutes. Square Enix putting escorts in escort quests. Funny stuff and so meta. It’s like a shitty infinity mirror made with a pun.

But I digress. It’s a great area after an initial noob grind in a previous rugged terrain area. All the beginning areas make my feet hurt in real life. So rocky and ready to punch through those flimsy level one slip ons.

I remember walking into Costa del Sol the first time like any real memory. That initial vista so beautiful. An honest breath of fresh air and a bit of a gasp in real life.

I am not sure if it is my favorite place in-game. I will have to ponder that idea for a bit and think about it. Some of the new areas in Heavensward are standouts. But I will ponder it and get back to it.
