This DJ Mix was a simple idea. Take the entire DJ Mix into Ableton. Drop the entire completed track by 7 semitones and export.
I had no idea that 7 semitones would result in 17 minutes of length to the DJ Mix. 7 semitones just 7 days later.
At the time I was part of a witch house forum. The suggestion was made and I laughed and immediately made it happen.
Notice the inversion of the cover but I didn’t replace the date. Fast turnaround with very little over thinking. Then I just popped the thing up on Mediafire and let it rip.
This DJ Mix never made it onto soundcloud. With the price of a pro account being so cost prohibitive I have to stick to the free account. I can only put up so much without having them milk my bank account.
In itself it’s quite a funny joke. But if you honestly put it on while working around the house, it reveals so much. It’s a great listen and a DJ Mix that I adore.
