Fashion Weak 11 sees more smeared ink jet failure. This time predominantly red and black. Mixed with earth tones, the palette is lovely.

Even though it’s a mess, it has a lovely elegance. It reminds me of how much clean up was required to get that printer up and running again. It reminds me of total frustration that must be overcome to retain a really shitty job.

This weekend I need to research which programs I have that will allow for me to create contact sheets. Then do a series of portraits of Ernie and I.

I think the eventual goal would be an animation. A series of motion photos printed on the wrong side of the paper. Blurred from the printer.

Then cropped and animated. Maybe even Photoshop droplets to create variations of the original. More angular maybe.

With this much bleed even angular wouldn’t be too much. You pretty much could go insane with the variations. But it would be more about controlling the variations and coming up with great movement.
