Empty Retail 08 carries on in light and dark. A little crooked on the shot. That’s me. Always a little crooked.
I remember when I did manual paste up for the newspaper I would always get scolded for putting things in crooked. A couple mistakes actually went to press and were immediately brought to my attention.
After several months I finally was allowed to work on the front page. I don’t know if it was because I got better or they just fired everyone else that was doing it. I guess as usual, I was good enough of what was left.
This is a persistent feeling even today. Even when I excel in a job I never grow cocky. I never think I am really great at anything. It’s a damaged person’s perspective.
Then at other times I can say that I like and love things I have done. But the achievement seems to pale to other’s. I just never have enough of anything. Or too much of the bad.
