Whoa, is that a digital self portrait from 1988? Wow. Just wow.

Still nobody from the Amiga world has contacted me with help on those old floppy diskettes. Just love typing and saying floppy diskettes. So French.

If you have any way of converting old Digipaint files to JPEG please let me know. I would love to show those old pieces.

In my mind I remember them looking very much like the cover for The Cure album Pornography. Blurry bright colored photos. I miss them.

Much like the 500 GB hard drive that died. A sad moment of digital loss. Or all the computers I have owned and lost to failure.

I think Apple underestimates people’s attachments to digital possessions. If they truly respected the idea they would find other solutions beyond cloud storage.

The process of backups would be built in. Archiving as you go. Maybe I am to blame and it is just a lack of knowledge on my part. Help anyone?

If anyone has any tips or tricks please let me know. If you just want to comment I below that would be great too. How have you avoided digital loss of your precious files?
