Crash Barrier is a photograph that shows that everyday things can make art with the best of them. It’s a beautiful study in texture and color. This is what I love and seem to capture best.

I sometimes get so depressed about what I am doing or not doing. I have ranted a bit about feeling so stuck in my rut here on this site. Then sometimes I have big bursts of productivity.

I am almost finished writing these posts. I have the next Icon ready to go. I have some great ideas coming up. But most of all I quit smoking.

It has been a struggle for several years. After stopping for a decade I relapsed for many years. Now I am trying to kick the habit again. I always go cold turkey.

So I am chugging along. Trying to get stuff done and at the same time control my mind. That is really what it is about. Self control.
