Christy PR-RAW Demo 4 is the end of the PR-RAW demos. Not quite as good as the fourth Nadja. But not bad.
This is an example of how the newer plexiglass pieces should go. Big pieces with numerous cut elements. Not a lot of line work unless it is painted lines.
This December I should focus on working out the cutting process. How to create larger pieces within the confines of printing on standard stock paper sizes.
Also I need to come up with a reason for printing on paper and then actually cutting them separately. Maybe using custom papers.
Then work out the process of adhering the pieces through a reverse side template. How and where to print large templates will be sourcing fun.
The other night I saw that picture of Aleister Crowley. I reimagined the middle pillar ritual with other symbols. Melting and vaporous porn stars and wobbly Twin Towers from an eighties alcohol ad.
The real test is to update the imagery to make it more than the simple idea. The theme seems to be heading toward magical ritual.
Now I just need to balance the darkness with humor. Do a ton of research on Picabia. Let it churn until I make that butter.
