Christy PR-RAW Demo 2 is better than the first one. Mainly due to the light colors of the underlay cuts. But it still isn’t quite there yet. The darkness of the top layer is still too overwhelming.

In the previous post I talked about where I was headed next. Surrealism being the big topic. But it needs to be much more than this.

In audio engineering there is a comparison technique where you put your track against a professional track to see if you are hitting the mark. This can easily translate to art. I need to make things that can stand against Picabia. Museum quality pieces. This is the ultimate goal.

Currently I have going: the Icons, a trio of pieces based on anime screenshots, a series of plotter watercolors and then a one off rolling in my head called The Scotts. Mostly stuff using my well tread lexicon.

I also want to do a series of demons to mirror the Supermodel series. And also a retread of the MPRSS-HRNT series using the plotter cutter. All updates. Not so new.

But then I have these sheets of plexiglass calling to me. Screaming for something new and physically big. Something with hard edges and more painterly. It’s there but it just won’t come to my head.
