Blast is another premillennial self portrait. The lens flare is added as is the accent of digital texture but everything else is real. It was taken with one of those round ball webcams.

My only complaint is that the lens flare makes my nose look gigantic. I love everything else about it. Especially the colors.

The whole thing has a very spaceship vibe about it. More Star Trek than Star Wars. Not that I have a horse in either of those races.

It is called Blast because it looks like an explosion on the right side. It was just me on a Courbusier couch with a lamp in easily the biggest apartment I have ever lived in this city.

Sometimes I still dream about it. The view of The World Trade Center. I would wake in the morning and cover the towers with my feet. Playing a childish game of hide and seek.
