Amber Chandelier is a beauty from down in Chinatown. A shot I took after leaving me brother on the extinct Funwa bus. A sad moment I can still remember so clearly.
Those moments when friends or family return home have always been hard moments. Once you know how life really is, you really become aware of the preciousness of these moments. So I took a beautiful photograph to commemorate the moment.
The funny thing is that the chandelier was hideously tacky. Only the closeup works. It works so much I have already used part of this image in this DJ mix.
I think it draws me because of the amber color scheme and the repetitive pattern. Two big things that push me. Maybe I need to go back to those stores and shoot a bit with the new phone.
Speaking of, I really need to compare the pictures between this and the point and shoot. An honest comparison in Photoshop to see if the quality is comparable. Then make a decision quickly about what to use.
So many decisions coming up. I feel there is never enough time. When I do have time I seem to blow it. Not all the time but too many missed for the workload. Fix this now.
